Remote learning

Due to the announcement, made by Boris Johnson on the 4th January2021, Lawley Village Academy has been instructed to close. We will only be opening for the children who meet the criteria in the key worker list set by the government. If you feel you are entitled to a place, please call the school office.

We are expecting all other children, working at home to engage in remote learning each day they would have been at school. Teachers will continue to teach the children in school whilst setting appropriate learning for the children at home. Each class has a different remote learning offer due to the expectations on different ages.

Please access the document below to see what the learning looks like in your child's class.

Teachers will be online each afternoon for  a half an hour slot to work with all the children who are learning remotely. It is important your child attends this slot as the teachers will give feedback on prior learning, work on any misconceptions and also complete activities to support the mental health and well being of our children.

We are aware that this type of remote learning is a huge shift for some of our parents. We have tried to provide guidance below to support your family.
