What makes Lawley Special?
This half term your child will be learning all about Lawley and how it has changed over the past few years. They will learn about the growth of Lawley and by comparing maps of Lawley now and in the past, they will understand how it has changed over time. Your child will then create their own maps of Lawley identifying human and physical features around the area.

What you need to know
Our P.E days are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Children can come to school on these days wearing their P.E kits.
We encourage children to read at least 5 times per week. and this should be recorded in their reading diary by an adult.
Reading books will be changed on a Friday and their phonics book will be changed once they finish the planned lessons for that book (either 4 or 5 days dependent upon their group).
Phonics sounds will be sent home via email for the children to practise. It is important that the children practise these regularly as it will help support their reading.
