Our STARS values

Each star combines a number of character traits, our aim is to make sure that each child displays characteristics from each STAR. To help them do this we have introduced some characters that are linked to each value. These are; Strong Sarah, Thinking Theo, Active Alex, Resourceful Rosie and Social Sam. These characters will help the children associate each star with a different personality and encourage them to be like the STARS. We will achieve this through teaching and learning tailored to their specific needs, resulting in the children becoming well rounded citizens who are confident and successful STARS. Each half term class teachers will choose a values champion for each value, they will be awarded a special coloured star pin badge to show their success, it is hoped by the time they leave us in year 6 they will have gained all 5 star badges. Weekly star of the week certificates will also be focused on the children who have shown STARS qualities that week.
