Our Teacher is called Mrs Berry and we have a teaching assistant called Miss Osbourne
What are we learning this half term?
In Beech class this half term, our topic is all about The Great Fire of London! This exciting topic explores the timeline of events during this significant historical event as well as looking at how the fire started, why it spread so much and what could have been done to prevent it!
What do you need to know?
Our P.E. days are Monday and Wednesday. Children can come to school in P.E. kit on these days!
We encourage children to read at least 5 times per week, and this to be recorded in their reading diary. Children will have a reading book and some children will also have a phonics book to read at home. Reading books will be changed on a Tuesday, as long as their reading has been recorded in their diary.
MyMaths homework is set each Monday, this may be relevant to what we are learning about in Maths at the current time, be a pre-teach for what we will be learning soon, or even be revisiting something we have already covered! The children also all have a TTRockstars log in to at home to have fun learning times tables!
There also may be challenges or activities set relevant to our topic work... these may be creative or project based activities and are used to develop the children's learning at home.
