What is PE at Lawley Village Academy?

At Lawley Village Primary Academy, we recognise the importance of Physical Education to a child’s development. In school we offer a balance of individual, team, cooperative and competitive activities which aim to cater to all pupil’s needs and abilities. In addition, we also promote a wider curriculum offer which includes the opportunities for pupils to take part in extra-curricular sports and activity clubs and competitions.

Extra-Curricular Clubs

We offer a range of extra-curricular clubs throughout the year to enhance and develop skills and interests in a range of sporting activities, these include;

  • EYFS and KS1 Multi-sports
  • KS1 Cricket
  • KS2 Multi-sports 
  • KS2 Mixed Football
  • KS2 Boys Football 
  • KS2 Netball 
  • KS2 Rounders
  • KS2 Cross country
  • KS2 Fitness 

We are continuously expanding and developing our offer based on interest shown in lessons and on the playground. As well as requests and feedback from our school and sport council. We also offer a range of sporting activities during lunch times throughout the week.
