Mobile phones

Mobile Phones

Whilst we would prefer parents not to use their mobile phones while at school, werecognise that this would be impossible to regulate and that many parents see their phones as an essential means of communication at all times. We therefore ask that parents’ usage of mobile phones whilst on the school site is courteous and appropriate to the school environment. We enjoy inviting our parents and carers into school to take part in events such as workshops, parent lunches and class visits but please can we remind you that we take safeguarding very seriously and the use of mobiles and the taking of photographs during these times is strictly forbidden.

We allow parents to photograph or video school events such as shows or sports day using their mobile phones – but insist that parents do not publish images(e.g. on social networking sites) that include any children other than their own.

Anyone who is found using a mobile phone or taking photographs in a way that contravenes this policy may have their parental license to enter school revoked.
