Safeguarding

At Lawley Village Academy, Safeguarding is at the forefront of everything we do. We believe that it is not only one persons responsibility but it is the responsibility of everyone in our school community. Our main intention is to ensure the safety of all within school. There are clear roles and responsibilities in place for this to happen.

Our designated safeguarding leads are:

Miss Claire Freestone - Headteacher

Mrs Zoe Sharp - EYFS Lead and Deputy Head

Mrs Charlotte Hendrie - Year 1 Teacher and SENDco.

If you have any concerns about the welfare of a child you will need to contact family connect on 01952 385385 and speak to a Family Connect Safeguarding Advisor. These advisors are available between 9am - 5pm mon to Fri (excluding bank holidays)

Outside of these hours you will need to contact the Emergency duty team on 01962 676500. If you believe a criminal offence has been committed you can contact West Mercia Police on 0300 333 3000 or 101. In an emergency always dial 999.
