Curriculum through school

Our curriculum is carefully designed to meet the requirements of the National Curriculum and the Early Years Foundation Stage, while also reflecting the unique context of our school and community. Learning is thoughtfully planned and mapped to ensure clear progression of knowledge and skills across all subjects, from the early years through to Year 6. Key concepts are revisited to support recall and deepen understanding over time, allowing pupils to build securely on prior learning. We place great importance on making learning meaningful and relevant by weaving in local history, geography, and community links wherever possible. This purposeful approach ensures our curriculum is ambitious, coherent, and engaging, enabling all pupils to develop the knowledge, skills, and cultural understanding they need to succeed.
